As Evyap, we are far more than a personal wash, personal care and hygiene company; we are a large and innovative team that believes in the power of research and development to shape a better future and never tires of imagining what lies ahead. Evyap R&D, which began its activities in 1989, became the first R&D Center in the cosmetics sector to receive official designation in 2014 in accordance with Law No. 5746 on R&D Centers. Once again leading the way in our industry, becoming a partner of the European Union’s HORIZON EUROPE support programme stands as a clear reflection of our commitment to pushing boundaries and exploring new horizons. Inspired by the power of innovation, we continue to explore and develop, designing value added products that make a difference, and moving forward into the future with confidence and determination.

Our team of more than 30 research scientists, the majority of whom are women and graduates of chemical engineering, is dedicated not only to meeting the highest standards but also to developing products that reflect a strong focus on quality and care. Departments

Research and Development activities are carried out by specialized teams across the following three distinct categories.

More than 30 R&D professionals from different disciplines are employed, approximately 10 percent holding doctoral degrees, 20 percent master’s degrees, 30 percent bachelor’s degrees, and the remainder holding sub bachelor level qualifications. All R&D activities are carried out in the R&D Center building located at the Tuzla facility, established on an area of 2,242 square metres. Each category has its own dedicated R&D laboratory, established on an area of 700 square metres. In the laboratories dedicated to each category, measurements of the physical and chemical properties of raw materials and products, as well as performance tests, are conducted using core analytical instruments, raw material testing equipment, and devices specifically designed for products.

First R&D Center Certificate in the Cosmetics Industry

Evyap R&D, which began its activities in 1989, became the first R&D Center in the cosmetics sector to receive official designation in 2014 in accordance with Law No. 5746 on R&D Centers. Once again leading the way in our industry, becoming a partner of the European Union’s HORIZON

As a result of these studies, original products have been launched on the market and intellectual property outputs subject to registration have been obtained. In addition to the 230 industrial design registrations and 50 patents we currently hold, the outputs of studies that are not subject to registration are also presented on scientific platforms and transformed into publications.
